I cannot get enough of this homemade salad. I know exactly what's in it. It's delicious, colorful and yum-yum-yummy! It's only 309 calories and very filling!
Do you recognize the ingredients? Do you see layers of flavor? Do you want to make a salad? Just looking at this picture makes me want another one, that's how fresh the ingredients actually are in this salad. It's the closest I come to having an authentic Greek Salad.
Pam's Greek-ish Salad:
1 cup chopped cucumber: 16 calories
1 red chopped tomato: 13 calories
1 yellow chopped tomato: 16 calories
2 oz. feta cheese: 144 calories
5 kalamata olives: 45 calories
1/2 tbsp. organic extra virgin olive oil: 60 calories
1 tbsp. red wine vinegar: 2 calories
1 lemon, juice squeezed: 12 calories
2 leaves chopped basil: 1 calorie
dash of salt and pepper to taste
Toss and serve cold!
TOTAL: 309 calories!
You can chase that with a small Fuji apple for 55 calories and you're set for a meal. Enjoy!
