Dead: Texas Ebola Patient

Thomas Duncan has died.

Texas Ebola patient dies

How any news outlet could say yesterday that he was making progress remains bizarre.

Being on a ventilator and any organ failure, specifically, kidney failure are both bad health news.

Temperature screenings will start at five airports.

Fever Screenings at 5 U.S. Airports

They're primarily targeting passengers who fly in from West Africa to the United States at international airports:  New York JFK, Newark, Washington Dulles, Chicago, and Atlanta.

They're not going to test at Los Angeles International Airport?  Why not?  It's also an international airport.

Sadly, with or without temperature screenings, this Ebola mess is going to grow all over the world.

Meanwhile, the NBC Cameraman is getting a transfusion.

This guy had donated blood to another patient and it worked so maybe they should study his blood antibodies.

My two cents:  Had the government invested time in finding the cure for MRSA, we may not be where we are today with Ebola. Science may have progressed to the point to save everyone. Instead, MRSA was not high on the priority list and now MRSA has already spread to our communities.
