For Weight Loss: Go Into the Sun

For a very long time I have believed that natural Vitamin D does help support weight loss.  I'm not talking about sunbathing, but instead getting outdoors and into the sun regularly.

A recent study seems to support that theory, although it's more about nitric oxide and its effect on metabolism.

The heaviest people I know rarely get outside and into the sun.  They choose to remain indoors instead.  They have desk jobs during the day.  They choose to eat their lunch at their work desk. And by the time they leave work, the sun has gone down.  Even on the weekend, they choose to run errands and then relax indoors instead of getting out and staying active.

If moderate exposure to UV rays does help to slow the development of obesity and Type 2 Diabetes, isn't it worth going outside and into the sun a little more?  Don't sunbathe, but stay active and get outdoors during the day.
