Flying to the U.S. Soon? Time for Temperature Checks?

Read the fine print... the CDC says taking the temperatures of certain passengers is only "under consideration."

Health Officials Promise Extra Airport Screening for Ebola

Even if the TSA or airlines check temperatures, I don't find it to be enough.

If there's no travel ban, it's too hard to determine if someone may develop a high temperature after the test.  To me, the temperature test wouldn't get medical help for everyone who may be infected.

Therefore, I believe airlines should send in cleaning crews after every single flight to clean everything (including arm rests, tables, and bathrooms) with Clorox water, bleach-based products and/or Pure Green 24.

I wonder - do they already do extra cleaning for First Class Passenger Seating?

The flight attendants already want extra screening.

But what about extra cleaning crews?

Has anyone considered extra cleaning?

There's no promises with any of this in preventing the spread of Ebola, but a little deep cleaning between hundreds of passengers can't hurt.  The airline that invests in deep cleaning is the airline I will choose to fly.
