The High Fat Diet sounds similar to the Atkins Diet to me with a focus on fats and proteins. But maybe dieters need to hear and read the advice in a new book.
The focus of The High Fat Diet is obviously to eat more fat and to cut back or eliminate carbs and sugars. The theory is that you can lose 10 pounds in two weeks if you stick to this diet.
And for exercise, you only have to exercise for 10 to 12 minutes a day for real results. This is no different from Beach Body and their 10 minute workout. In fact, the exercise moves are similar and Beach Body works.
Different programs work for different people. If you'd like another diet book on your bookshelf, buy another book.
If you want to be realistic, join My Fitness Pal for free online and start tracking what you eat so you can eat a variety of foods.
Whatever way you choose to lose weight, especially if you're morbidly obese, get to it and start some sort of program. Baby steps will lead into adult steps to take control of your life.
I know far too many morbidly obese people who refuse to count calories, cheat on their diets with treats and consider themselves healthy and fit. If you weight 300 or 400 pounds, get real. You're not fit; you're fat. Get started on something today!
