Big-Boned or Obese?

For decades, adults have used the excuse of being big-boned for their weight gain. Now, parents are saying their children are big-boned instead of obese.

Is it true?

Is the look of obesity actually being big-boned instead?  Or is it poor parental eating habits that contribute to a child's obesity?

Now, experts are saying there is no thing as being big-boned.

It comes back to personal responsibility and the food choices you make for yourself and your children.

Morbidly obese folks love excuses.  They'll give you a million reasons why they can't lose weight and none of it has to do with personal responsibility.

I know far too many morbidly obese people who refuse to review what they're eating and think they deserve a constant stream of treats or an extra bite or an extra sandwich here or there, which leads to obesity.  But I have come to learn that you can't help anyone who doesn't want to make a change. Maybe an adult likes being obese for comfort and convenience.  It's what they're used to and they really don't want to give up a bite of sweets now and then.

When it comes to children, we have far more control over what they eat and how much they exercise. Teach them when they're young and when they're adults, they'll be fine.  But the big-boned excuse has to go out with the wind.  If you live by excuses, your health could suffer by those same excuses.

Take action today and make a change for your health...
