TX Ebola: Sheriff's Deputy Being Treated Out of Caution

The headline says it all... if you have a job that involves the public, be careful when you walk into any unknown location without protective gloves at the very least.

'What about me?': Texas sheriff's deputy rushed to hospital with symptoms of deadly Ebola complained about lack of safety when he was sent to 'patient zero's' apartment

No protective clothing?  Now, the clinic where this guy went for help is on lock-down.

Hopefully, this guy tests negative.  But it raises the question: who should be wearing gloves and/or protective clothing while on the job?
