Study: Women Cut Risk of Stroke

Can women cut their risk of a stroke?

A new study says, yes!  If you eat more fruits and vegetables, exercise regularly, don't drink alcohol or smoke, and have a healthy blood pressure.

Strokes are debilitating.  My father suffered a massive stroke in his late 60s and was paralyzed on his left side.  He suffered a major blood clot at the base of his brain.  For eight years, he was a wheelchair user and life changed dramatically for him emotionally and physically.  Life also changed for my mother, who became his full-time caregiver.

No one wants to suffer a stroke.  And no one wants to care for a stroke survivor; it's a full-time job that also affects the caregiver.

Get your health in order today!
