Spousal Arguments May Lead to Obesity

Arguments with your spouse may lead to depression and ultimately, obesity.

How arguing with your spouse could make you fat: Marital rows and depression lead to fewer calories burned after meals - Daily Mail

I absolutely believe this study, even though it was only short-term.

If you put all of your energy into arguing with your spouse, you're not going to put energy into getting additional exercise or choosing healthy foods.  Ongoing arguing with someone and making no progress with real communication is frustrating and causes depression.  You eventually give up and withdrawal from everything including friendships, exercise and outside interests.  Really, those arguments are non-productive and a waste of time.

You really have to review your relationship.  If there's no communication, nothing is going to change and it will only affect your health long-term.  If arguments with your spouse are depleting your energy, reevaluate, reorganize and get back on a healthy track!
