Brussels Sprouts! Yum!

Did you know for a full cup of Brussels Sprouts, it's only 28 calories with 3 grams of fiber? That leaves you room to add calories and other items to your Brussels Sprouts.
I like to chop up my Brussels Sprouts, so they're almost like slicing mini-heads of lettuce. I add sliced tomatoes, onions, a few garbanzo beans, fresh chopped basil, and drizzle with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It just makes a pretty plate and it's still low in calories if you stay light on the oil. I also like roasted Brussels Sprouts with a little drizzle of olive oil, although they're a little higher in calories.
