Each study is not created equally and the information may or may not be valid.
Finally, someone blew the lid off the diet studies. It took a documentary to deliver the message that the media buys into everything written in a press release.
So, if you want someone to believe your information, create a website, write a press release and see who bites? That's right. It's that easy to turn yourself into an expert overnight.
Case in point: Remember the recent headline about chocolate helping with weight loss? As a result of that headline, I started eating more chocolate. No kidding. And I'm not alone.
Journalists and Joe Public were duped by a diet study. They even created a website.
Everyone believed their study which was picked up and published internationally.
Absolutely believable. In today's world, journalism has transformed. If you lay out the information in a press release and the hook is titillating, you'll earn press. It doesn't have to be true, but it has to be groundbreaking news.
If you really want to lose weight, ignore all of the studies and count calories on My Fitness Pal. There are so many weight loss stories that shows My Fitness Pal and counting calories works.
