If you want to learn anything about fat shaming, take a page from social media. People think it's fine to take a photograph of someone else, most often a stranger, and post a caption to it. And it's wrong.
Singer Michael Bublé posted a picture of a complete stranger and even though he claims he wasn't fat shaming the stranger, he took heat for his original post. He's since apologized for what he said about the woman.
Instead of having to apologize, people should think before they post anything to social media that infringes on someone else's rights.
I wonder if the subject of a photo can sue if you post their picture to social media and say disparaging things. Why take the chance? But as proof, anyone can sue for anything.
Think about kindness when it comes to different body shapes and faces. You never know what is going in someone's life or their health. Bottom line: think before you post.
