Students Boycotting School Lunches

A student in Wisconsin is organizing a boycott of school lunches, which have become inconsistent at best.

Michelle Obama's school lunch rules have resulted in MORE processed foods and SMALLER portions, says student organizing boycott - Daily Mail

So, if the students boycott school lunches on November 13th, it will hit the school's budget.

I still believe the school lunch problem lies with the people who run the school kitchens.  They don't know how to interpret the guidelines and sometimes just include an extra piece or bread or some other processed food to meet the requirements.  Clearly, they need a nutritionist on staff.

A simple sandwich with meat, cheese and veggies would help immensely.  Otherwise, I agree with the students who plan to pack their lunches.
