Say it isn't so. Why should Starbucks support using GMOs in food and not be willing to expose the truth about the ingredients in what we're eating?
Neil Young Boycotts Starbucks Over GMO Lawsuit - Rolling Stone
Bravo to Vermont for passing a law requiring that all food products with GMOs must be labeled.
Why shouldn't the public know what they're eating?
In other countries, the public is entitled to know when they're eating GMOs or even better, the use of GMOs is outlawed.
I cannot believe that Starbucks is in bed with Monsanto. But there they are both on the list of membership of the Grocery Manufacturers Association.
Sign this petition encouraging Starbucks to allow the public to know what ingredients are in their food and beverages. The public has a right to know what ingredients they are eating.
Snopes says the story is both true and false about Starbucks. Well, it doesn't matter if Starbucks filed the lawsuit against GMO labeling or not. If Starbucks is a member of the Grocery Manufacturers Association, Starbucks clearly must support the decision to sue. Otherwise, they would not be listed as an active member just as Monsanto is listed as an active member.
Think about it... is it possible that with all of the GMOs in our American diet, are those same GMOs making Americans fat and affecting our health? I think it should be our choice whether to eat GMOs or not. Therefore, aren't we entitled to informative labeling about GMOs?
64 countries around the world require GMO labeling - why not the United States?
