Sadly, most of the face masks tested did not even meet the standards for filtering which meant they provided little protection.
And therein lies the problem. How effective are face masks? Whether you're using them for pollution or so you don't contract a contagious, infectious virus? All face masks are not created equally.
But that hasn't stopped them from selling.
Many websites are selling face masks.
If we don't need face masks, why in the world are the temperature screeners wearing face masks at JFK Airport today in New York City?
