If you're employed in a job that is fair, earns you respect, offers you and your family benefits, and allows you to pay your bills in full, have gratitude for that job. It could be worse.
If you didn't know it, new jobs are hard to come by. It's the world of technology and the days of walking in the door of a business and getting a job on a handshake and eye contact are gone.
In today's world, you have to apply online by filling out application after application, some with additional paperwork. Sometimes it takes people hours to fill out one online application that may or may not garner a three second cursory look. That's right. To find a job, someone may look at your resume for three seconds if you're lucky and then click on the next resume.
