Bible Bread at Trader Joe's!

Since the media has been consumed with GMOs, I've been on the search for more products that are labeled GMO Free.

I've been eating Dave's Killer Bread.  I especially like the 21 Whole Grains and Seeds version.  But I've had to drive on the freeway 30 to 45 minutes to Bristol Farms to buy Dave's Killer Bread.  It's a delicious bread, 110 calories for one slice and labeled GMO Free with the Non GMO Project Verified seal.  The company even offers a thin sliced version of the bread I like for only 60 calories, but my Bristol Farms didn't carry the lower calorie version.  Either way, while I love the bread, I'm not fond of the drive.

Now, Trader Joe's is carrying Ezekiel 4:9, Sprouted 100% Whole Grain Bread.  I like to call it my Bible Bread.  The Food For Life website notes that the Ezekiel 4:9 bread is GMO free and it says right on the packaging that it's made with Certified Organic Grains.  Each slice is only 80 calories. It's filling, delicious and most importantly, it doesn't trigger an eating binge.  And I don't have to drive on the freeway to buy it because it's 5 minutes from my home at my local Trader Joe's.

"Take also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils and millet, and spelt, and put them in one vessel and make bread of it..."  Ezekiel 4:9.

Both Dave's Killer Breads and Ezekiel Breads are excellent choices when you're trying to lose weight. Choosing fewer preservatives in our food choices makes weight loss that much easier.

We tell our children every day, "Make good choices."  It's time to make those same good choices for ourselves and our families.  Have a great day!
