Olive Oil Could Save Your Life

Olive oil.  That's right.

A recent study of 69 men and women showed big improvements in having healthy arteries when they increased their consumption of olive oil.


Even though the headline advises you to dunk bread into olive oil, you could skip the bread and just add olive oil to your diet.

Regular consumption of olive oil in the Mediterranean diet has shown there are heart and health benefits.  

So, the advice goes that you should consume about four teaspoons a day of olive oil.  

Do they realize that there are 160 calories in four teaspoons of olive oil?!  That's enough calories to cover half a meal or more than a snack.

My advice?  Exercise more so you can have more olive oil... and focus on a Mediterranean diet that includes more olive oil scattered throughout yours meals.
