I would love to wear these boots... but I'm not a model.
The legs in these boots belong to Kylie Jenner.
She is 17-years-old.
She has 13.7 million followers on her Instagram and 7.53 million followers on Twitter.
To say the least, she's way more popular than I was at the age of 17.
Everyone seems to be attacking her for wearing these boots and posting pictures of her pouty lips. I don't understand all of the judgment and hating going on. This girl is beautiful and she's preparing herself to have a career by the time she is 18. Ask her mother, the window is small to make your mark in Hollywood. If she wants to model, she will have to be noticed. As far as I'm concerned, Kylie Jenner is doing her job in getting noticed.
She comes from a family of self-made millionaires who have made their mark by taking selfies or photographs of themselves.
Every girl I know from college was taking selfies even BEFORE the time of cell phones. Don't believe it? I have a bunch of selfies taken on a regular camera during my college years. Which is kind of funny because I couldn't see the selfies until I either sent the film through the mail to be developed or took them to a department store, licked a nasty envelope and sent them away to be developed to be received a week later. In today's world, these photos are instant.
I've seen people writing that they wouldn't let their daughter wear these boots. Well, these are probably designer boots and where would your daughter wear these boots, to the mall? I think not. No worries...
Let this young celebrity do her thing and be noticed. If she's not noticed, she will disappear from the radar. She is being noticed so she can support herself just like her sisters have supported themselves. Remember, Kylie Jenner has one of the most savvy business moms in Hollywood. These photos are all part of the plan. And if Kylie can skip over her sister's misstep of doing a sex tape, then these boots are no big thing. Let her wear them as long as she wishes. Of course, I expect she will be changing outfits by tomorrow and these boots will be walking away like a thing of the past.
