The U.K. has a bunch of new stories about Ebola here in the United States. In fact, the U.K. has a bunch of news stories that aren't getting wide coverage in our national news. I wonder why it is that way?
Friend of Ebola victim put in 'quarantine' after visiting apartment where sick man was 'vomiting wildly' - Daily Mail Online U.K.
So, this family was exposed to the Ebola patient in Texas, but they were not told how to provide food for their family while being isolated in their apartment until October 17th? No one is helping them? They have three young children. People are falling through the cracks in this mess.
The U.K. article includes an Ebola Virus Disease Informational pamphlet from the CDC and World Health Organization that I haven't seen before.
NOTE: Under Transmission - "Touching objects that have come in contact with the virus."
Several people have been disagreeing with me that Ebola is only spread wound to wound. No - it's spread like MRSA through contaminated objects, too.
As for the drug being used to treat Ebola, if you get a chance to get some ZMapp, get some. They ran out of it in August.
Is ZMapp a cure for the Ebola epidemic?
Get on with the clinical trials so the world can have access to this drug, not only the doctors and the government. It's time to make sure a potential cure is available to everyone.
