It's going to be interesting come this November to see whether voters in Oregon and Colorado vote Yes on the "Right to Know" Label GMO Foods propositions.
According to the websites, there are currently 64 countries around the world that require GMO labeling. That includes Australia, Brazil, Russia, China, Japan and all of the nations in the European Union.
Here's the strangest part of the story. Most major food producers in America ALREADY are doing GMO labeling of their ingredients in these markets... but not here? Not in the United States? Instead, those same companies are hiding the GMO ingredients from us?
It makes no sense. I believe in transparency instead of forcing investigations.

Residents of Oregon and Colorado must pave the way by voting in the November 4th election so you can pave the way for other states to follow. Can you imagine never knowing what foods are genetically engineered and potentially cause cancer or other diseases?
Fact or Myth: Do Genetically Modified Foods Cause Cancer, Lung Damage & Birth Defects? - Underground Health Reporter
I look at the foods I eat. If they're natural fruits or vegetables and I eat a normal amount, I know my body will digest them. But when I look at processed foods that potentially have toxins in them in the form of unknown genetically modified organisms, I just don't know how my body will react or whether my body will process them normally.
My sister and father primarily lived on processed foods. They're both dead. I especially believe my sister's body had a difficult time metabolizing certain foods because, while she thought they were healthy, those foods had unknown amounts of GMOs in them. Why can't the food industry that is being transparent in other countries be transparent in America?
Figure it out for yourselves by educating yourself about what genetically engineered foods even means: What is Genetic Engineering?
Please vote in November...
