There's all kinds of information floating around the Internet tonight about the condition of the Ebola patient in Texas. Some people are claiming he is dead, others are claiming he is on life support, while others are claiming he's still in critical condition. Who knows what is true anymore.
When I worked in the news business, certain information was embargoed until an exact date and time for public release, meaning we were not allowed to release that news until the time the embargo was lifted.
In my opinion, there are a lot of news embargoes going on here from various sources.
Even Luke Russert from NBC News seems to confirm there are embargoes on the Ebola news being released:
