School Bans Chick-Fil-A $ Support

My gay friends eat at Chick-Fil-A.  They have always been treated like any other customer with respect.  My gay friends also eat at In-N-Out.  And they eat at Subway.  At every restaurant, they are treated like anyone else.  No one cares about their private lives.  No one.

This is Southern California.

Now, why is a school not allowing their football players and booster club to take proceeds from Chick-Fil-A?  In today's world, it's very expensive for students to play sports in any school.  I know students who are charged thousands of dollars just to play football or baseball in the public school. We couldn't afford the sticker price when my sons went through school, so my boys played in the far less expensive public baseball league instead.  This is a financial burden that parents can't afford, so they do fundraising.  At every school my kids attended, every group seemed to do fundraising.

Chick-Fil-A wasn't making a profit.  So, the school didn't really punish Chick-Fil-A, the school punished the parental wallets so their kids could play sports.  I believe the school should offer an alternative immediately to make up the lost proceeds.

As my theory always goes, everyone is welcome everywhere, even a funeral service.  They may learn something.

Besides, the founder of Chick-Fil-A died days ago.

S. Truett Cathy, Chick-fil-A Founder Dies at 93

Isn't it time for everyone to move on and work together?

Especially, the school, but also Chick-fil-A.
